Re: /dev/pion/sharc0:software timeout on command opration

I believe this denotes that a particular Command has not been completed within a predetermined time.
Does this occur on Compile/Deploy? or happen when the role is running?
How frequent are you seeing this?
Has there been a change made in the Project file/system which coincides with the timing of this Error?
If so,perhaps there is an earlier npa rev you can role back to,to see if it's project related.
Or has this condition been seen from the off?
Is there any particular pattern emerging with this fault state? i.e. is there any specific operation/control invoking this?

In any case I would advise you to send the Nion Logs, npa file and a briefing on the history of this project to your specified MediaMatrix Technical Support Center.

Yet again, I would like to point out that this forum is NOT a route to technical support, even though pretty much all the technical support people are registered members here. This really is an issue that you need to work through with your local MediaMatrix Technical Support organization.
