Topic: CN Disco type program for Apple - is something available??

I have some spare mac mini's laying around and was wondering if there was a cobranet program like CN Disco for Mac? Trying not to buy a windows license for a mini.

Hi Gary,

Unfortunately I'm not familiar with a program just like Disco that is available for MAC, but you should be able to do a lot of the same kinds of things since it is all SNMP based.

You will need a DHCP or BootP server to hand out IP addresses.
You will need a SNMP browser that you can configure the OID's to monitor.

If you have these things, you should be able to suitably replicate the monitoring functions of Disco. However, if you want to do a firmware update I expect that you will still need to use Disco.
