Topic: Timer on Volume

Has anyone worked on a timer for volume control with any success?
I work on a rig that is 1600+ speakers/80+zones (translation: a lot of cabs and nions)
When the floor is on a high volume night, I would like to be able to have the background music bump up at a specific time each night and also lower at a specific time for 50+ zones at the same time...

Anyone worked on anything like this?

Thanks (and greetings! - first time posting on here after reading the forum's topics for over a year now)

Yes, I have, though not that many zones.  Connect a scheduler generator/scheduler to the load trigger of a sub-preset or a snapshot.

Fergy

Make it intuitive, never leave them guessing.

Re: Timer on Volume

If you would prefer a more gradual change in level than the sudden adjustment of a preset or snapshot recall, you may want to look at the level ramp object in the device list. This will allow you to adjust from one setting to another with a gradual change instead of just jumping from one setting to another.
